There’s nothing quite as synonymous with summer as the beach, even if you are in the sub-Arctic North Sea remote island of Fair Isle.
That is just the calming sound of water, but being physically near the beach, hearing the crashing waves and feeling the cool breeze of the ocean is somehow therapeutic.
Staring at the green cliffs, or the ferocious North Sea actually changes our brain waves frequency and puts us into a mild meditative state. For Skelark, she is more energized and engaged...and ran off the lead with such zeal.
Here are two videos, the first from last night, at the beach, and the other, from this morning walking with the little doglet down our one paved road.
